رویدادهای محتمل در آینده

برای بیان رویدادهای محتمل در زمان آینده در انگلیسی می‌توان از What if و Suppose به همراه زمان حال استفاده کرد.

به مثال‌ها توجه کنید:

• What if I fail my exams? I won't be able to go to college.
• Suppose she fails her exams. She won't be able to go to college.
• What if the computer crashes? I will loose all my work.
• Suppose they assess our coursework. We will have to keep a portfolio.
