گرامر، معنا و کاربرد Some و Any
از Some و Any برای اسم‌های جمع (plural nouns) و اسم‌های غیرقابل شمارش (uncountable nouns) استفاده می‌شود.
Some معمولا در جملات مثبت و Any معمولا در جملات منفی استفاده می‌شود. به مثال‌های توجه کنید:
- He has some information about the new agreement. (uncountable noun & positive sentence)
- He doesn't have any information about the new agreement. (uncountable noun & negative sentence)
- He met some colleagues after the meting yesterday. (plural countable noun & positive sentence)
- He didn't meet any colleagues after the meeting yesterday. (plural countable noun & positive sentence)
- I think we will have some time to discuss the issue tomorrow. (uncountable noun & positive sentence)
- I don't think we will have any time to discuss the issue tomorrow. (uncountable noun & negative sentence)
نکته جالب این است که اگر معنای جمله کامل بماند و آسیب نبینید شما می‌توانید Some و Any را بدون Noun هم به کار ببرید.
- He didn't eat any cake but Sarah ate some (cake).
- John drank lots of tea but his friend didn't drink any (tea).
جملات سئوالی با Some و Any
معمولا برای طرح پرسش از Any استفاده می‌شود.
- Do you have any friends here?
- Do they have any children?
و از Some معمولا در شرایط زیر استفاده می‌شود.
وقتی می‌خواهیم چیزی را تعارف کنیم.
- Would you like some tea?
- Would you like some cake with your tea?
وقتی تقاضای چیزی را داریم.
- Could I have some cake, please?
- Can I have some sugar?
وقتی می‌خواهیم چیزی را پیشنهاد دهیم.
- Why don't you give me some advice about the problem?
- Why don't you have some cake?
