ساختار  would just as soon معنایی شبیه به would rather و would sooner دارد و برای بیان ترجیح کار یا عملی بر کار یا عمل دیگر به کار میرود.

مثال برای کاربرد would just as soon

• Would you like to go to cinema?
• I would just as soon stay in and study.

ساختار would just as soon از هر دو ساختار would rather و would sooner کم کاربردتر است.
